Position Overview

We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Senior Director of Marketing to lead our Product Marketing teams. This role is pivotal in driving brand growth, market penetration, and product innovation while navigating complex regulatory landscapes. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that align with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor cross-functional product marketing teams across multiple categories.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with Regulatory, Legal, R&D, and Sales to ensure marketing initiatives are compliant and effective.
  • Analyze market trends, consumer insights, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  • Own brand positioning, messaging, and lifecycle management across product portfolios.
  • Drive integrated marketing campaigns across digital, retail, and traditional channels.
  • Manage marketing budgets and performance metrics to optimize ROI.
  • Represent marketing in executive-level strategy discussions and planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive marketing experience in CPG, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven success in regulated industries (e.g., food, beverage, OTC, personal care, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of product marketing, brand strategy, and consumer behavior.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management abilities.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams including Regulatory, Legal, and Compliance.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with digital transformation and omnichannel marketing.
  • Familiarity with FDA, FTC, or other regulatory bodies relevant to CPG.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in marketing analytics tools.
