Overview

A rapidly growing specialty chemical manufacturer is seeking a Senior Maintenance & Reliability Engineer to lead reliability and asset management initiatives at a newly built $252 million chemical manufacturing facility. This individual will serve as the site's reliability subject matter expert, driving mechanical integrity, equipment reliability, preventive maintenance strategy, and continuous improvement efforts across a highly technical process manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

Lead the site's Mechanical Integrity and Reliability Program.
Develop and execute reliability strategies for critical production assets.
Analyze equipment performance data to identify failure trends and reliability improvements.
Conduct failure mode assessments and develop preventive maintenance strategies.
Lead root cause investigations and implement long-term corrective actions.
Improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs alongside maintenance teams.
Optimize CMMS utilization and data integrity efforts.
Support equipment selection, installation, commissioning, and capital projects.
Ensure compliance with OSHA PSM requirements and mechanical integrity standards.
Partner cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, process, and technical support teams.

What You'll Bring

BS in Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering plus 8+ years of maintenance and reliability experience; or 15+ years of relevant experience without a degree.
Strong experience implementing OSHA Process Safety Management (PSM) principles.
Working knowledge of ASME, NFPA, API, and OSHA mechanical integrity and reliability standards.
Expertise with reliability methodologies including RCM, FMEA, and RCA.
Experience with CMMS platforms, preferably Maximo.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause investigation capabilities.
Project management experience with multiple concurrent initiatives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
High mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
