Senior Manager HRBP

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior site leaders to shape and implement a comprehensive People Strategy.
  • Stay current on HR trends, legal updates, and emerging technologies in talent management and employment practices.
  • Establish and monitor key HR performance indicators, collaborating with plant leadership to review results and implement improvement plans.
  • Lead labor relations efforts, including contract negotiations, grievance handling, and arbitration processes.
  • Manage sensitive employee relations matters such as disciplinary actions, terminations, and investigations.
  • Collaborate with Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver specialized HR solutions and address gaps or opportunities.
  • Support initiatives related to employee engagement, recognition, safety, and learning and development.
  • Work with site leadership to advance diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in alignment with company values.
  • Act as a cultural ambassador, promoting a positive work environment and reinforcing organizational values through HR practices.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on leadership development, team dynamics, and performance management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related business field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as PHR or SHRM-CP are a plus.
  • 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in generalist roles or across multiple HR disciplines.
  • Proven expertise in labor relations and collective bargaining, including direct experience with unionized environments.
  • Prior experience supporting manufacturing operations is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday) and data analytics tools to drive decision-making and process improvement.
