Senior Manufacturing Engineer
Join a global leader in robotics and automation as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, supporting the launch of a new U.S. manufacturing hub. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in transitioning advanced robotic products from new product introduction (NPI) into high-volume production while driving process improvements, manufacturing excellence, and operational scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the transition of products from NPI into full-scale manufacturing
- Develop robust, repeatable manufacturing processes and process controls
- Support the assembly and production of complex electro-mechanical products
- Identify and resolve manufacturing, quality, and assembly issues through cross-functional collaboration
- Design and implement manufacturing tooling, fixtures, equipment, and assembly solutions
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles
- Develop and maintain assembly instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing standards
- Partner with global engineering and operations teams to share best practices and improve performance
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience supporting complex machinery, automation systems, or robotics products
- Strong experience with electro-mechanical assembly processes
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, DFM, DFT, RCCA, and failure analysis methodologies
- Experience developing assembly processes from engineering drawings, CAD models, and BOMs
- Hands-on troubleshooting and process optimization experience
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
