Summary:
The Quality Engineer will be responsible for all manufacturing activities including quality and continuous improvement. The Quality Engineer will develop and execute all Company quality programs The Quality Engineer will work cross-functionally with managers of other functions, devise operational strategies and track progress to meet goals.
The Quality Engineer should have the following skill set:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field required
- 4+ years experience in a Quality leadership/supervisory role
- 3+ years experience in aerospace and/or metallic component manufacturing
- 3+ years supervisory experience
- Six Sigma Black Belt, ASQ certification strongly preferred
- Prior experience with AS9100/ ISO17025/Nadcap
- Functional knowledge of Lean concepts
- Comprehensive understanding of aerospace manufacturing guidelines
The Quality Engineer will:
- Maintain a robust internal auditing system
- Ensure the organization conforms to all customer and regulatory requirements
- Ensure manufacturing operations are in line with ASO/ISO regulatory standards
- Work closely with plant leadership to set daily goals and agendas
- Ensure company achieves the highest quality standards and minimizes product defects
