An exciting golf cart distributor/manufacturer is looking on a Category Manager to support their procurement efforts! This is a great opportunity to grow and develop with a supportive hiring team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead category strategy development and supplier management for Asia-Pacific suppliers.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align with strategic direction and business priorities.
- Ensure cost savings, quality, and adherence to contracts.
- Manage total cost of ownership within the category.
- Benchmark costs and build long-term supplier relationships.
- Oversee contract compliance and issue resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 5 years of Procurement/Sourcing/Category Management experience
- Candidate must be fluent in Mandarin.
- Proven history of sourcing and procurement results
- Self starter mindset to initiate projects and RFPs
- Analytical approach to finding cost-savings opportunities
