DSJ Global is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join their team in the capacity of Category Manager for Packaging & Raw Materials. This permanent position will be based in London.
Job Description:
As the successful candidate for this role, you will be responsible for managing packaging suppliers across multiple categories with varying levels of complexity. You must also have experience collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders from various departments such as R&D and operations to ensure that all materials are procured on time while maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop category strategies aligned with business objectives
- Work closely with internal teams (e.g., Procurement Operations) to optimize supplier performance
- Negotiate contracts ensuring best value whilst minimizing risk exposure.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
To qualify for consideration, candidates should possess these qualifications/experience;
-A minimum 5 years' relevant procurement experience within Food & Beverage industry or similar sectors;
-Degree qualified preferred but not essential.
-Proven track record managing complex projects/suppliers
