Dispatch Specialist - Bulk Liquid Chemicals

Location: West Chicago, IL

A global manufacturer of construction chemicals and building materials is hiring a Dispatch Specialist for its concrete admixtures business. You'll get bulk liquid product to customers on time across the U.S. by coordinating with plants, carriers, production and customer service. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, and a good fit for someone who stays calm when schedules change.

What You'll Do

• Schedule and route outbound bulk liquid deliveries across several U.S. sites, making sure product, drivers and equipment line up.
• Work with production, warehouse, customer service and outside carriers to keep open orders moving.
• Keep internal teams and customers updated on delivery status, delays and changes.
• Track orders, paperwork and electronic delivery tickets in the ERP system so billing is accurate and on time.
• Handle urgent problems like equipment breakdowns or last-minute schedule changes, sometimes after hours.
• Find and suggest ways to make dispatch more efficient and improve service.
• Follow DOT, safety and environmental compliance standards.

What You Bring

• Experience in dispatch, transportation coordination or logistics, ideally with bulk liquids, chemicals or tanker freight.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations.
• ERP experience (Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus).
• Strong communication skills and good relationships with drivers, carriers and internal teams.
• High school diploma or GED required.
