As the Global Procurement Director, you will be the most senior person in procurement, reporting directly into the board and playing a pivotal role in the organization. Your expertise and leadership will be crucial in optimizing our procurement processes, driving efficiency, and implementing best practices across the organization.
- Lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing procurement team, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Define, develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and sustainability of materials and services.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure procurement aligns with organizational goals.
- Establish strong supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance.
- Identify and implement process improvements and digital solutions to streamline procurement operations.
- Manage risk and compliance within the procurement function, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies.

- Extensive experience in procurement, with a track record of success in leading procurement functions. Experience in a transformational setting is beneficial.

- Business fluency in English and German is essential.
