Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer - Power Supplies
Job Location: Johnson County, KS (on-site)
What You Will Do
- Plan and implement low volume SMT and CCA production in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Provides technical support to the production team for immediate corrective actions, to include: SMT, Reflow Oven, Conformal Coating, and circuit testing and troubleshooting.
- Identifies potential manufacturing-related risks on new and developing programs, as well as develops risk reduction plans to eliminate them. Familiar with Product Failure Effects Mode Analysis (PFEMA) and Design Failure Effects Mode Analysis (DFEMA).
- Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma principles to ensure that manufacturing requirements for efficient processes and practices are addressed on a timely basis.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering field, BSEE preferred.
- Three to five years of related work experience in manufacturing operations preferred.
- Knowledge of SMT, Reflow and Conformal Coating
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and 3D CAD packages required.
- Demonstrated analytical expertise is required, including adeptness at root cause identification.
- Knowledge of working requirements of AS9100 quality standard is strongly preferred
