Job Title: Expert/ Principal Onboard Diagnostics Engineer
DSJ Global is currently partnered with a one of the world's largest automotive manufacturers that specializes in BEV vehicles. This organization is looking to expand its team with a senior level Onboard Diagnostics Engineer where this candidate will be responsible for leading the North America Business Unit for diagnostics and certifications within the electromobility group.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Leading all aspects related to Onboard Diagnostics (OBD) development activities
- Establishing strategy and direction around technical solutions required for delivering high-quality products
- Identifying areas where improvements can be made based on industry standards or customer feedback
- Developing plans which align internal stakeholders concerning product changes resulting from new regulation implementations
The Expert/ Principal Onboard Diagnostics Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Minimum 4 Year Bachelor's Degree in engineering
- 10+ years of automotive engineering experience
- Strong knowledge base regarding Diagnostic tool chains
- Knowledge of diagnostics legal requirements and powertrain certification
