Function: Procurement of goods and services in accordance with Company procedures/policies and governmental regulations.
Duties:
- Analyze requirements from the MRP system for procurement of production components to meet customer demands. Perform cost/price analysis. Negotiate for best quality, price and delivery.
- Select and evaluate suppliers. Monitor suppliers for quality and on-time delivery.
- Coordinates internally with other departments
- Researches, analyzes and forecasts current and future market trends
- Assure accuracy on all purchase orders including but not limited to flow down of ITAR regulations, DPAS regulations, First Article Requirements, Part Revisions.
Qualifications: BS Degree required. A minimum of 5 years experience in a manufacturing industry as a buyer a must. Knowledge of interpreting engineering drawings, and knowledge of Aerospace/Military standards a plus.
