Sr. Process Engineer
I'm partnering with a leading manufacturer in the building materials space to hire a Sr. Process Engineer for their Winchester, VA operation.
This is a hands-on engineering role focused on improving manufacturing performance, solving complex process issues, and driving continuous improvement across a highly automated production environment.
As the Process Engineer, you will:
- Optimize manufacturing processes and equipment performance
- Troubleshoot process, equipment, material, quality, and EHS issues
- Partner closely with production, maintenance, and technical teams
- Establish and improve operating parameters and process controls
- Support equipment upgrades, repairs, and replacements
- Lead/support capital projects from justification through implementation
- Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations
The Process Engineer should have...
- BS in Engineering
- 5-7 years of manufacturing or process engineering experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience with extrusion and/or plastics processing highly preferred
- Capital project experience is a plus
- Six Sigma or other formal problem-solving training is beneficial
