Company Profile: A restaurant chain is looking to add a Director of Supply Chain. This person will be responsible for leading procurement, sourcing, distribution, logistics, and supplier strategy across the organization. You'll partner closely with Culinary, Operations, Marketing, Development, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure the restaurants have the right products at the right cost from the right partners.
The Director of Supply Chain Will Be Responsible for the Following:
- Develop and execute supply chain strategies that support the restaurants' continued growth and long-term business objectives
- Optimize sourcing, procurement, distribution, and logistics programs across multiple markets
- Manage a $50M+ purchasing portfolio across food, packaging, smallware, and operational categories
- Ensure contract compliance, service excellence, inventory optimization, and operational readiness
- Develop dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools that improve visibility and performance
The Director of Supply Chain Should Have the Following Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience within multi-unit restaurants, foodservice, hospitality, or related industries
- 5+ years leading teams and supplier relationships at scale
- Deep expertise in restaurant purchasing, procurement, sourcing, distribution, and logistics
- Advanced Excel and ERP/MRP systems experience
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage supply chains and commodity markets
