Senior Product Manager
A growing industrial manufacturer is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead product strategy, lifecycle management, and innovation initiatives for a portfolio serving the grain industry across North America. This individual will be responsible for developing product roadmaps, identifying growth opportunities, and driving cross-functional execution from concept through commercialization.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute product strategies that align with customer needs and business objectives.
- Gather and translate customer, market, and stakeholder insights into product requirements and development priorities.
- Lead products through the full lifecycle, including ideation, launch, enhancement, and retirement.
- Manage new product development initiatives and ensure successful commercialization.
- Partner with engineering, operations, sales, and marketing teams to drive product success.
- Oversee project timelines, resources, and deliverables across multiple initiatives.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to support product positioning and future growth opportunities.
- Serve as a key internal advocate for both customer needs and business priorities.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience, preferably within industrial, agricultural, manufacturing, or engineered product environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong understanding of product development processes, lifecycle management, and market-driven innovation.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional projects and influencing stakeholders without direct authority.
- Ability to work closely with customers and operational teams to gather firsthand market insights.
- Strong strategic thinking, project management, and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel 15%.
