APAC Marine Sales Manager, Singapore
Role Overview
We are seeking a commercially driven APAC Marine Sales Manager to lead regional business development across professional marine segments. This role will be responsible for driving market expansion, building a scalable channel network, and leading project-based sales engagements across key APAC markets.
Key Responsibilities
1. Market Development & Commercial Growth
- Drive and execute regional sales strategies across APAC
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within professional marine sectors (e.g. commercial, defence, SAR, patrol)
- Deliver against sales targets and contribute to overall regional revenue growth
2. Channel Strategy & Distribution Management
- Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and strategic partners across key markets
- Build a structured, scalable, and performance-driven distribution network
- Enable partners through joint business planning, pipeline development, and customer engagement
3. Project Sales & Key Account Management
- Lead project-based sales activities, including government and institutional tenders
- Engage directly with end-users, system integrators, and key decision-makers
- Drive proposal development, tender submissions, and technical-commercial negotiations
4. Market Intelligence & Product Feedback
- Gather and analyze market insights, customer needs, and competitive landscape
- Provide structured feedback to support product positioning, localization, and development
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization
5. Brand Representation & Regional Marketing
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows
- Support regional marketing initiatives to strengthen brand presence and market positioning
Requirements
- 5-8+ years of sales experience within marine, defence, or related professional equipment sectors
- Proven track record in APAC regional sales and market development
- Strong experience in channel/distributor management and project-based sales cycles
- Familiarity with tender processes, government projects, and stakeholder engagement
- Self-driven, commercially minded, and capable of operating independently in a regional role
- Fluent in English; additional Asian languages are an advantage
- Willingness to travel frequently across APAC
