Key Responsibilities

  • Develop sourcing strategies for electrical systems (e.g., switchgear, UPS, PDUs, generators, transformers, chillers).
  • Lead supplier negotiations, contract management, and competitive sourcing events.
  • Align technical specifications with project requirements and supplier capabilities.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and dual-sourcing models.
  • Create and manage production schedules based on demand forecasts and capacity constraints.
  • Prioritize speed of delivery while balancing cost and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators such as delivery timelines, inventory turnover, and production efficiency.
  • Coordinate the full lifecycle of contractor-installed equipment from purchase through commissioning.
  • Oversee logistics for shipping, rigging, and storage of major equipment.
  • Ensure data accuracy across procurement and scheduling systems.
  • Develop documentation, training materials, and process playbooks.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives to streamline workflows.
  • Define and monitor supplier performance metrics and review cadences.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Support change management for project updates and budget adjustments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain planning, or infrastructure project management.
  • Familiarity with large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
  • Experience with ERP systems and planning tools.
  • Proven ability to manage high-value contracts and multi-vendor strategies.
  • Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration and process improvement.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
