Are you passionate about CNC machining, advanced manufacturing, and precision programming? Join our team as a CNC Programmer I, where you'll play a key role in developing and maintaining CNC programs that support high‑quality production across mission‑critical applications. This hands‑on role gives you the opportunity to collaborate with Engineering, Production, and shop‑floor teams while supporting continuous improvement throughout our manufacturing operations.
About the Role
In this position, you will generate CNC programs, support machining operations, design tooling and fixtures, and assist with programming systems and robotics. You will also provide shop‑floor support and serve as a lead resource for Programmer I team members.
Responsibilities
- Generate and maintain CNC programs to produce accurate, high‑quality products
- Utilize both manual and computer‑aided programming techniques
- Provide on‑the‑floor support for CNC machine setup and operation
- Design and develop tooling, jigs, and fixtures
- Review existing manufacturing processes to identify cost reduction or quality improvement opportunities
- Use drafting/CAD software to support programming and tooling design
- Assist in managing programming systems, robotics, and vending systems
- Serve as a lead resource for CNC Programmer I team members
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 5+ years of CNC programming experience
- Proficiency with Esprit CAM and Mazak Camware
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Skilled in using precision measuring tools
- CAD software experience
- High School Diploma or GED
