Continuous Improvement Manager

The Continuous Improvement Manager drives key transformation initiatives across the organization, ensuring that improvement projects, process changes, and new product introductions are delivered effectively and aligned with long‑term strategic goals. Working under the Operational Excellence Director, this role partners closely with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams to turn strategy into measurable, on‑the‑ground improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee progress of lean and operational improvement initiatives across the company, ensuring results are delivered and sustained.
  • Define project scope, timelines, cost estimates, and risk plans.
  • Lead project teams, track milestones, and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Maintain clear, consistent communication with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
  • Monitor key performance metrics, including cost, quality, and process effectiveness.
  • Promote standardized lean methodologies and support the development of lean capabilities across the organization.
  • Lead or facilitate lean activities and training sessions.
  • Mentor lean champions and collaborate with continuous improvement teams throughout the broader corporate network.
  • Share best practices and help strengthen a culture of structured improvement.
  • Lead cross‑functional teams on new product introductions and significant process changes.
  • Validate project charters, maintain project plans, and ensure alignment with cost, delivery, and quality targets.
  • Oversee risk management, documentation, traceability, and quality actions, including readiness for initial production phases.
  • Track project financials, including budget, spend, and profitability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong background in continuous improvement and lean methodologies
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
  • Proven project management experience, ideally in machining or manufacturing environments.
  • Motivated, collaborative, detail‑oriented, and adaptable.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 40% and support multiple production sites.
