Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Procurement to lead our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement processes, supply chain management, and strategic sourcing within the chemicals manufacturing industry. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services necessary for our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage and oversee the procurement team, providing leadership, guidance, and support.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key suppliers and vendors to ensure reliable supply chains.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure the best terms and conditions for the company.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the chemicals manufacturing industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and strategic sourcing.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
