Salary: $175,000 - $195,000 + discretionary bonus

A leading supply chain solutions company is hiring a Director of Sales to lead a remote sales team and drive strategic growth across national and enterprise accounts. This hybrid, player-coach role focuses on executing a two-year sales strategy, expanding category presence, and supporting reps in high-impact meetings. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, forecasting discipline, and a consultative sales approach to accelerate market expansion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a rolling 2-year sales strategy to drive growth and market share.
- Expand category-based offerings through targeted go-to-market strategies.
- Scale national and enterprise accounts by fostering strategic, consultative relationships.
- Set performance goals, manage accountability, and ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline health.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align sales efforts with operations, marketing, and product development.
- Coach and develop a geographically dispersed sales team, promoting a culture of learning and performance.
- Champion solution-based selling and ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive sales experience with a strong record of revenue growth across SMB and enterprise accounts.
- Proven success in developing and executing multi-year sales strategies.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales operations (Salesforce preferred).
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate remote teams.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and analytical skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 40%, including air travel.
