ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring for a Director of Supply Chain Planning who possesses a strong focus on strategy, data, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of supply chain planning, including demand forecasting, supply optimization, MRP system configuration, sourcing support, and analytics.

You'll be leading efforts to improve forecast accuracy, optimize inventory and replenishment strategies, and enhance our MRP system. You'll also support sourcing decisions and onboarding, while developing dashboards and KPIs to drive performance across the supply chain. This role is perfect for someone who's analytical, process-driven, and passionate about continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Forecasting & Demand Planning: Lead the development of accurate, data-backed demand forecasts. Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to align projections with business goals and drive forecast accuracy improvements.
  • Inventory & Supply Optimization: Manage end-to-end supply planning to ensure product availability while balancing cost, space, and service levels. Implement strategies for safety stock, replenishment, and economic order quantities.
  • System Configuration & Data Management: Oversee the configuration and maintenance of planning systems and master data. Ensure systems are optimized for efficiency and accuracy in material planning and replenishment.
  • Sourcing & New Product Support: Partner with sourcing and commercial teams to support onboarding of new products, suppliers, and locations. Provide analytical insights for supplier selection and cost modeling.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Build and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor supply chain performance. Deliver actionable insights to leadership and support strategic initiatives with data-driven recommendations.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, with at least 6 years in a leadership or strategic role
  • Strong proficiency in supply chain planning tools and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., NetStock, SAP, Oracle)
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, forecasting methodologies, and inventory optimization
  • Experience with dashboard creation and KPI development using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
  • Experience developing and executing supply chain strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency
