The EHS Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and enhancement of safety and environmental initiatives across diverse departments and operational sites.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts and foster a culture of active employee participation in safety practices.
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, EPA, and other regulatory requirements, ensuring full compliance across the board.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute audits, conduct inspections, and deliver impactful training programs.
- Lead emergency preparedness efforts and oversee thorough investigations of safety incidents.
- Collaborate closely with operations to align environmental, health, and safety objectives with key performance goals in production, quality, and efficiency.
The ideal EHS Manager candidate will have the following skillset:
- Demonstrated success in leading EHS programs within a manufacturing setting.
- Proven ability to manage safety and environmental initiatives across multiple departments or sites.
- Strong skills in adaptability and driving organizational change.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and influence at all organizational levels.
- Familiarity with platforms such as ISN Network, MSDSonline, L2L, or comparable systems is preferred.
- Certification or training as a first responder preferred.
- Industry experience in thermoforming, packaging, or related manufacturing sectors preferred.
