EHS Manager

We are working with a well-established manufacturer in the industrial processing sector, recognized for its commitment to safety, sustainability, and operational excellence. With multiple production sites, the organization promotes a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement across all levels.

We are seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead safety and environmental programs across two manufacturing facilities. This role is part of the site leadership team and will be responsible for driving compliance, reducing risk, and fostering a safe and healthy work environment.

The EH&S Manager will be responsible for:

• Developing and maintaining safety and environmental policies aligned with regulatory standards.
• Conducting regular training sessions for employees and contractors on safety protocols.
• Leading internal audits, safety committee meetings, and incident investigations.
• Managing OSHA logs, EPA reports, and other regulatory documentation.
• Overseeing equipment safety programs, including powered industrial trucks and elevated work platforms.
• Coordinating emergency response planning and drills.
• Ensuring compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) and other applicable frameworks.
• Serving as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and supporting inspections.
• Supporting corporate initiatives and sharing best practices across business units.

The EH&S Manager will have the following qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in EH&S roles within manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Familiarity with OSHA, EPA, and PSM regulations.
