Currently, DSJ Global is partnered with a leading Life Science company whose technologies bring benefits to many aspects of daily life. With the purpose of reinventing future forms of profess and creating sustainable shared values for all through the power of science, this company is looking at expanding their high-performing team with the addition of an Electrical Engineer.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide electrical engineering services, including design, estimating, reporting, project implementation, system troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures
- Improvement and usage of automation technology to increase equipment effectiveness, increase production performance, reduce maintenance activities, and reduce maintenance costs
- Work cross functionally to identify and implement control strategies in increase product yields, reduce energy usage and optimize the value of products
- Determine project cost estimates and coordinate project design and installation activities
- Share changes in standards (NEC, OSHA, IEEE, etc.) that effect plant practices and equipment
- Provide specifications and support for fire alarm systems, UPS systems, control wiring, heat trace systems, switchgear, motors, starters, lighting, generators, VSD's, and MCCs
- Develop and maintain accurate electrical design drawings
The Electrical Engineer should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters degree preferred)
- 5+ years of experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Experienced with 480v Motor Controls, VSD's, and Medium Voltage distribution systems
- Experience with NFPA 70E work practices and ARC Flash methodology
