The Opportunity
Our client, a global leader in the food and beverage FMCG sector, is welcoming open applications from planning professionals at Planner, Senior Planner, Manager, and Senior Manager level. Multiple opportunities exist across the end-to-end supply chain planning organisation as the business continues to invest in growth, capability building, and supply chain transformation.
These roles are based in Helsinki, a key hub for regional and global planning activities, and offer the chance to contribute meaningfully to high-impact, cross-functional initiatives.
Scope of Roles
Depending on level, background, and business need, positions may cover responsibility across one or more of the following areas:
- End-to-end supply and demand planning across manufacturing, co-packers, and distribution networks
- Demand planning and forecasting in close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance
- Supply planning, capacity planning, and inventory optimisation
- Ownership or contribution to S&OP / IBP processes
- Scenario modelling, risk mitigation, and service-cost trade-off analysis
- Planning process standardisation and digital transformation initiatives
- KPI ownership and performance management (service level, inventory, forecast accuracy)
- Stakeholder management across regional and global teams
- People leadership and capability development (for Manager and Senior Manager roles)
Candidate Profile
We are interested in speaking with candidates across a range of seniority levels who bring strong planning fundamentals and a collaborative mindset.
Typical experience may include:
- Experience in supply chain planning within FMCG, food & beverage, or other high-volume manufacturing environments
- Background in one or more planning disciplines (demand, supply, S&OP/IBP, inventory)
- Understanding of how planning connects commercial strategy with operational execution
- Experience working in international, matrixed organisations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exposure to planning systems such as SAP APO, SAP IBP, or similar tools
- For senior roles: proven stakeholder management and leadership experience
