Global Facilities Mechanical Engineer

- Responsible for design, construction, operation, and optimization of critical facilities systems
- Focus on global standardization, reliability, innovation, and sustainability

Responsibilities
- Act as technical subject-matter expert for mechanical and process systems
- Support global, regional, and site facilities and manufacturing teams
- Design andoptimize semiconductor facilities systems, including:
- Cleanroom HVAC and general HVAC
- Chilled water, heating water, and process cooling water
- Makeup air, recirculation air, and process exhaust
- Compressed air, process vacuum, fire protection, and building systems
- Lead and support large-scale infrastructure design and construction projects
- Develop and maintain global standards, specifications, and best-known methods (BKMs)
- Drive initiatives in reliability, energy efficiency, emissions, and water sustainability
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Technology Development, Procurement, Finance, and Legal
- Capture lessons learned and continuously improve global engineering practices
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
- 8-15 years of experience in semiconductor facilities or related industries
- Strong expertise in mechanical and process systems for semiconductor manufacturing
- Experience with codes, standards, and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities
