About the Role
We are partnering with a leading consumer electronics business to appoint a Head of Sales - Benelux, responsible for driving revenue growth, retailer partnerships, and commercial strategy across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg.
This is a senior leadership position for an experienced commercial professional with a strong track record of managing key retail and reseller relationships within the consumer electronics industry. The successful candidate will lead the Benelux sales strategy, oversee a high-performing sales team, and play a key role in accelerating market share across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the Benelux sales strategy across retail, e-commerce, and reseller channels.
- Lead and mentor the regional sales team, driving performance and commercial excellence.
- Manage relationships with major retail partners and buying groups across the Benelux market.
- Negotiate annual agreements, promotional activities, and joint business plans with key accounts.
- Identify new business opportunities to increase market penetration and revenue growth.
- Work closely with marketing, product, and supply chain teams to deliver successful commercial initiatives.
- Own regional forecasting, budgeting, and sales performance reporting.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behaviour to inform strategic decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of sales experience within the consumer electronics industry.
- Proven experience managing and growing business through major retail and reseller channels.
- Strong network and experience working with retailers such as MediaMarkt, Coolblue, BCC, Expert, Euronics, Elkjøp, Vanden Borre, or similar regional partners.
- Demonstrated success leading commercial teams and delivering revenue growth.
- Experience negotiating at senior buyer and director level.
- Strong understanding of omnichannel retail and e-commerce environments.
- Fluent Dutch and English; additional European languages are advantageous.
- Based in the Netherlands or willing to relocate.
