Overview
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for promoting products and services to both existing and prospective clients. This role involves close collaboration with customers, business partners, and internal teams to support revenue growth and customer acquisition objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Quotations, Negotiations, and Order Entry: Prepare and deliver accurate quotations. Engage in negotiations to reach agreements that align with company policies and customer needs.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline by tracking leads, opportunities, and progress. Update customer interactions and sales data in the CRM system.
- Coordination: Collaborate with external teams and utilize project tracking tools to identify and qualify new customers and upcoming projects. Assign leads appropriately within the sales team.
- Tradeshows and Events: Assist in planning and attending industry tradeshows and events to promote offerings and build relationships.
- Lunch and Learns: Organize and execute educational sessions with architecture/design firms. Coordinate with presenters, maintain schedules, follow up with attendees, and collect feedback post-event.

- Customer Service & Account Management: Provide outstanding service and support to clients through various communication channels. Understand client needs and ensure a positive experience.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities for effective client engagement and persuasive sales presentations.
- Customer Focus: Ability to empathize with clients and offer tailored solutions to meet their needs.
- Time Management: Prioritize tasks effectively to meet sales goals and maintain timely client interactions.
- Team Collaboration: Work well with colleagues across departments to support a cohesive and productive work environment.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the construction industry, including terminology and project dynamics.
- Skills: Proficient in negotiation, communication, and presentation. Self-motivated and results-driven with a comfort level in meeting targets and deadlines.
- Event Planning & Organization: Experience in coordinating events or managing projects.
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Architectural Understanding: Ability to interpret architectural terminology and construction drawings.
