Key Responsibilities
- Manage and minimize third-party warehousing costs and foster strong relationships with warehouse providers.
- Analyze domestic freight costs and collaborate with LTL and TL carriers to optimize transit efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with sales teams by providing precise freight cost analyses and pricing support.
- Oversee and resolve domestic freight claims while delivering monthly transportation activity reports and cost-saving initiatives.
- Perform regular site visits, audits to external warehouse partners, ensuring a seamless operation and fostering productive partnerships.
- Collaborate closely with the supply chain teams to maintain excellent communication and inventory accuracy.
- Educate internal teams on domestic transportation and warehousing best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3-5 years of logistics experience with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Expertise in domestic transportation (LTL, TL carriers) and warehouse management.
- Proficient in ERP systems and data analysis tools; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage pressure, and adapt to challenges.
- Willingness to travel domestically (5%-10%) to engage with warehouse partners.
