About the Role
A globally operating organization with a regulated and process-driven environment is looking for an experienced Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Developer to strengthen its internal IT function.
In this role, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to design, develop, and optimize a complex D365 F&O landscape. You will contribute to both ongoing system improvements and international rollout projects, following structured validation and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine data entities, workflows, forms, and templates within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Design and develop SSRS and Lasernet reports for D365 F&O
- Support and implement customizations and extensions within D365 F&O
- Develop and maintain interfaces between D365 F&O and external systems or databases
- Manage and maintain the development environment and related servers
- Design and develop Logic Apps and automated workflows
- Act as an internal technical consultant for the implementation and rollout of D365 F&O modules
- Set up and maintain version control systems and test environments
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, functional testing, and requirements testing, aligned with a structured software lifecycle process (e.g. GAMP 5)
- Implement and maintain EDI integrations between D365 F&O and external operational partners (e.g. warehouses, depots, carriers)
- Support data warehouse and BI development activities
- Assist with SharePoint customization and development
- Establish, document, and continuously improve IT processes related to application and software development
- Ensure all activities are executed in accordance with lawful, ethical, and compliance-driven standards
- Collaborate on cross-functional and international projects with internal teams and external vendors
- Proactively contribute improvement ideas that benefit the wider IT organization and business users
- Achieve individual objectives as defined in alignment with IT leadership
Required Background & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
- 3+ years of hands-on experience developing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Strong understanding of D365 F&O architecture, customization, and integration concepts
- Experience working in structured, validated, or regulated IT environments
- Familiarity with reporting tools, system integrations, and testing methodologies
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across international teams
Nice to Have
- Experience with EDI integrations in operational or logistics-focused environments
- Knowledge of GAMP 5 or similar validation frameworks
- Exposure to BI, data warehousing, or enterprise integrations
- Experience working with external implementation or consulting partners
