Operations Manager
We are partnering with a leading international logistics provider to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for a large-scale, multi-site campus in 's-Heerenberg.
This is a high-impact leadership role, responsible for overseeing operations across a 50,000 m² campus consisting of multiple facilities and a workforce of approximately 100 employees (indirect leadership).
The Role
As Operations Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement of several warehouse operations on one integrated campus. You will work closely with site leaders and supervisors to ensure operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee operations across multiple warehouse sites within one campus environment
- Indirectly manage and develop a team of ~110 employees through team leaders and supervisors
- Drive operational performance, KPIs, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure high standards in safety, quality, and compliance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and customers to optimize service delivery
- Identify and implement process improvements across the campus
Your Profile
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager (or similar senior leadership) role within logistics or supply chain
- Experience managing large, multi-site or complex warehouse operations
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing teams indirectly
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Hands-on mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
Requirements
- Fluent Dutch (mandatory and essential)
- Strong English skills
- German language skills are a strong plus
