The Plant Manager will be responsible for:
* Ensuring a safe, compliant, and efficient plant operation while meeting production and quality goals
* Leading and developing both direct and indirect reports across production, engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain, and EHS
* Overseeing day‑to‑day activities and coordinating all operational functions within the facility
* Driving strategic initiatives, Lean manufacturing efforts, and continuous improvement to reduce costs and enhance performance
* Identifying process improvements, solving complex operational issues, and implementing standardized procedures
* Full‑time, on‑site position with some travel required
The Plant Manager should have the following qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related hard science discipline (Chemistry, physics, biology); MBA preferred
* 7-10+ years of plant or general management experience in manufacturing
Experience leading teams of 100+ employees
* Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent background strongly preferred
* Experience in industries with strict safety and quality requirements (e.g., aerospace, automotive, pharma)
* Demonstrated success leading diverse teams in a continuous‑improvement culture
* Experience with safety and environmental compliance (OSHA knowledge required)
* Union experience preferred
