DSJ Global is currently partnered with a leading Aerospace Manufacturing organization, who are looking to expand with the addition of a new Process Engineer overseeing their special processes. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization who specialize in the development of complex assemblies for major aircraft and defense platforms.
Position Summary
The Process Engineer will develop, implement, and optimize special processes for aerospace components, ensuring compliance with industry standards and supporting production efficiency.
As the Process Engineer, you will…
- Develop and industrialize special processes (welding, heat treatment, chemical processing, primer application, NDT).
- Create work instructions, define process parameters, and select equipment.
- Design inspection methods and process control plans.
- Support shop floor activities, including operator training and process tuning.
- Analyze production issues and implement engineering solutions.
- Conduct audits and ensure corrective actions for process compliance.
- Communicate technical data and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
As the Process Engineer, you will have…
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials Science preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of process engineering experience in aerospace manufacturing.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work cross-functionally.
- Knowledge of Nadcap accreditation and pyrometry.
- Experience with RCCA, PFMEA, and continuous improvement methodologies.
