We are supporting a client in the digital health services space on their search for a Procurement Specialist to play a key role in managing third-party vendor engagements, with a strong focus on contract negotiation, purchase order execution, and sourcing support. This role operates independently to oversee the full lifecycle of procurement activities-from initial vendor engagement through contract administration and renewal tracking. The specialist ensures compliance with internal procurement policies and legal standards while driving cost optimization and operational efficiency across the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead contract reviews, negotiations, and vendor onboarding processes.
  • Draft, redline, and manage contract documents in collaboration with Legal, Compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for contract execution, ensuring alignment with business timelines and risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage purchase orders and procurement documentation using ERP and e-sourcing tools.
  • Coordinate and execute sourcing events (RFPs, RFQs), including requirements gathering, vendor selection, and award administration.
  • Monitor contract expiration dates and proactively manage renewals, renegotiations, or terminations.
  • Provide reporting and tracking of procurement activities, including spend analysis and contract pipeline visibility.
  • Support the development and refinement of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to understand business needs and deliver procurement solutions that align with strategic goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years in procurement, contract management, or strategic sourcing.
  • Experience in indirect procurement, particularly IT/software purchasing.
  • Strong understanding of contract law, negotiation tactics, and vendor risk assessment.
  • Proficiency in procurement systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
