Job Summary
We are seeking a Production & Supply Planning Specialist to ensure smooth and efficient production operations. This role focuses on creating production schedules, coordinating material availability, and optimizing resources. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve production issues, manage capacity planning, and monitor performance to meet business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules aligned with demand forecasts
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers for timely production and delivery
- Analyze capacity and adjust plans to optimize utilization
- Monitor progress and resolve issues during manufacturing
- Collaborate with warehouse, procurement, and sourcing teams
- Ensure timely material acquisition for production
- Prepare data for monthly SIOP meetings and support decisions on demand, supply, and inventory
- Define inventory planning strategies to improve P&L performance
- Work with sales and customer service to incorporate demand into plans
System & Process
- Use SAP ERP for inventory, scheduling, and procurement tracking
- Maintain accurate records and drive process improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- 6+ years in production planning, inventory management, or supply chain
- Proficient in SAP ERP
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
