Production Planning Leader
I'm partnered with a global leader in data center infrastructure to hire multiple Production Planning Managers to support a rapidly growing manufacturing operation.
This role sits at the center of operations-bridging planning and execution-and is critical to ensuring complex, high-value products move seamlessly from order through to delivery.
You'll work across teams to drive alignment, hold timelines, and ensure production plans translate into on-time shipment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own and drive production planning and execution across the full order lifecycle (pre-sales → shipment)
- Partner closely with master scheduling, production scheduling, manufacturing, and supply chain teams
- Ensure BOM releases, production schedules, and materials planning are aligned and executed on time
- Track orders end-to-end, proactively managing risks and holding teams accountable to delivery timelines
- Act as the operational bridge between strategy and execution across multiple internal teams
- Analyze data to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities across production and planning processes
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within planning, scheduling, and execution workflows
- Provide visibility into production status and delivery performance
What They're Looking For
- Experience in production planning, supply planning, or project-based manufacturing environments
- Background in manufacturing, fabrication, or complex product environments (large-scale equipment, industrial systems, etc.)
- Strong understanding of:
- Production scheduling
- Master scheduling
- BOM management/release
- Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and drive execution against deadlines
- Highly analytical with strong skills in:
- Excel
- Power BI (or similar tools)
- ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, process-driven environment with high accountability

- Products include power systems, cooling infrastructure, racking, and other critical data center components
- High-complexity, large-scale manufacturing with significant budgets and timelines
- Cross-functional, execution-heavy role with low direct client interaction
- Strong emphasis on process discipline, data accuracy, and operational rigor
Additional Details
- Fully on-site in Columbus, OH (limited flexibility)
- Travel (~20%) to manufacturing sites and project locations
