Regional Account Manager
Responsible for driving profitable revenue growth within an assigned territory by developing new business and expanding existing customer relationships. This role requires a consultative, business‑to‑business sales approach, strong territory management skills, and effective collaboration across internal teams. The position is primarily field‑based and involves regular travel within the designated region.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new and profitable business through cold calling, prospecting, networking, internal and external lead sources, and existing customer relationships
- Develop, execute, and manage sales plans and forecasts to achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas
- Identify customer needs and develop tailored solutions using a broad portfolio of lubricant, blended oil, and related product and service offerings
- Maintain accurate sales activity, opportunity tracking, and pipeline management using CRM systems
- Prepare customer‑specific proposals, including scope of work, pricing, margin analysis, and overall profitability
- Build and maintain strong, long‑term customer relationships through consistent engagement and follow‑up
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with operations, service, finance, and other internal stakeholders to ensure successful solution delivery and customer satisfaction
- Exercise sound judgment and decision‑making in dynamic or challenging situations
- Travel weekly within the assigned territory; overnight travel may be required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years of business‑to‑business (B2B) sales experience
- Proven ability to prospect, close new business, and grow existing accounts
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand pricing, margins, and profitability
- Prior experience using CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent time management, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across functional teams
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Work Environment
- Remote - Field‑based sales role with frequent customer interaction
- Regular regional travel required to support territory coverage and business growth
