About the Role
Our client, a leading international logistics provider, is seeking an experienced Head of Sales to drive commercial growth across Western Europe (France, Spain, Benelux, and Germany). This is a strategic leadership role responsible for shaping regional sales strategy, managing a high-performing team, and delivering sustainable revenue growth in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Business Development Managers and Account Managers across multiple countries.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Sales Strategy & Execution
- Define and implement regional sales strategies aligned with global objectives.
- Drive new business acquisition and strengthen relationships with key accounts.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Performance Management
- Set clear KPIs and ensure achievement of revenue and margin targets.
- Regularly review team performance and provide actionable feedback.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, and product teams to deliver tailored solutions.
- Represent the company at industry events and client meetings to enhance brand presence.
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales leadership within logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain solutions.
- Strong understanding of Western European markets and cross-border trade dynamics.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing multi-country teams.
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
- Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Willingness to travel across the region as required.
