Position Overview
Seeking a Sales Manager to drive new business development and manage client relationships in the e-commerce and fulfillment space. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in 3PL sales, strong knowledge of e-commerce logistics, and the ability to bring in new clients while maintaining long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and prospect new business opportunities in e-commerce, retail, and DTC brands.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Present ShipCore's fulfillment solutions to prospective clients and tailor proposals to their needs.
- Collaborate with operations and account management teams to ensure seamless onboarding and service delivery.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for leadership.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years in sales within 3PL, logistics, or e-commerce fulfillment.
- Strong understanding of order fulfillment, warehousing, and pick and pack operations.
- Proven ability to generate new business and meet/exceed sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills
- Existing network of e-commerce brands or retailers.
- Knowledge of Amazon/Walmart fulfillment processes.
- Familiarity with freight forwarding and supply chain solutions.
