Sales Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a Sales Manager / Senior Sales Manager to drive growth in the U.S. power generation market, focusing on Caterpillar's Olympian genset range (<200 kVA). This is a highly visible, customer-facing role responsible for building and scaling a strong dealer and distribution network across Texas and the Northeast. The position combines strategic market expansion with hands-on sales execution, including business development, channel on boarding, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in establishing market presence, strengthening partnerships, and accelerating growth across commercial, industrial, and residential segments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical preferred); MBA is a plus
- 6-12 years (Manager) or 10-15 years (Senior) in relevant sales roles
- Experience with generator OEMs, CAT dealers, or power solution providers
- Strong understanding of U.S. power generation and regional markets
Requirements
- Proven success in dealer/channel development and sales growth
- Experience with distributors, EPCs, contractors, and utilities
- Knowledge of EPA Tier 4 and OSHA compliance standards
- Strong CRM experience (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)
- Ability to travel extensively across the U.S.
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (US Citizen/Green Card holder)
