About the Role
A leading chemical company in Germany is seeking an experienced SAP Procurement Consultant to join its SAP Center of Excellence (CoE) within the Digital & IT unit. In this role, you will drive digital transformation by implementing state-of-the-art SAP solutions across SAP Ariba and MM. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT colleagues to enhance procurement processes, optimize system integration, and lead key SAP projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with procurement stakeholders to understand business needs and advise on SAP solutions.
- Identify and implement improvements within the global S/4HANA Procurement and Ariba setup.
- Participate in end-to-end project delivery, including requirement gathering, system configuration, testing, and training.
- Ensure seamless integration of procurement processes with other business areas like Finance, Planning, and Intercompany operations.
- Stay up to date with SAP innovations and provide expert guidance on procurement functionalities.
Your Profile
- Relevant university degree or business education.
- 5+ years of experience in SAP MM and SAP Ariba.
- Strong understanding of Purchase-to-Pay processes, including strategic sourcing, operational purchasing, catalogs, and workflows.
- Hands-on experience in SAP MM and Ariba implementation projects.
- Solid project management skills and the ability to deliver results in international teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset, with the ability to translate business needs into system requirements.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
