Senior Electrical Engineer
Summary:
A leading Packaging company is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the critical projects across the production site. This individual will be responsible for the design and maintenance of electrical manufacturing systems.
The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for:
- Consistently meeting project deadlines
- Electrical power distribution systems
- Maintenance of VFDs, PLCs, and Motors
- Control/Automation system programming (PLCs, HMIs)
- Cross-functional collaboration across Engineering and Operations
The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering
- Electrical Power Distribution background (transformers, switchgears, MCCs)
- Automation/Controls experience (PLCs, HMIs)
- Paper, Pulp, or Packaging industry experience
- Ability to work on-site
- Ability to relocate to the Ticonderoga, NY area (relocation assistance available)
