About the Opportunity
A clinical-stage biotechnology company is seeking a senior clinical supply leader to help drive forecasting, planning, and execution across a growing development portfolio.
Description
- Lead clinical supply planning and forecasting across multiple development programs.
- Build and maintain supply models that support enrollment assumptions, study design, manufacturing timelines, and inventory strategy.
- Partner closely with Clinical Operations, CMC, Regulatory, Quality, and external vendors.
- Drive supply risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
- Oversee IRT-related supply planning and forecasting activities.
- Coordinate packaging, labeling, distribution, and global supply execution.
- Support clinical development teams by providing proactive supply insights rather than reactive reporting.
- Help establish scalable processes as programs advance through development milestones.
Ideal Background
- Clinical supply chain experience within biotech or pharmaceutical environments.
- Experience supporting programs from early clinical development through later-stage studies.
- Strong forecasting, inventory management, and supply planning expertise.
- Experience working with IRT systems and clinical supply vendors.
- Ability to understand broader development strategy and translate it into executable supply plans.
- Strong cross-functional communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders.
- Comfortable operating in a lean, fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Small molecule experience preferred.
- Oncology experience is helpful but not required.
- Experience supporting global clinical studies.
- Demonstrated success building forecasting models and planning tools.
- Experience managing CMOs, depots, packaging vendors, and distribution providers.
