Base Compensation: $120,000 - $157,000
SUMMARY
We are partnered with a leading packaging manufacturer, located in the Williamsburg VA area, that is seeking a dedicated professional to lead both internal projects and large-scale initiatives with budgets exceeding $5M.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning and execution of capital projects.
- Oversee initial design phases, team selection, and project scope development.
- Manage the selection, procurement, installation, and commissioning of equipment and systems.
- Develop and monitor project budgets and schedules.
- Implement and manage change plans.
- Coordinate and manage external consultants and contractors.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
- Oversee projects during scheduled maintenance outages.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (required).
- 5+ years experience in the heavy industry - paper, pulp industry preferred
Proficiency with Power distribution systems, process instrumentation systems, DCS, Rockwell PLCs, VFDs and low/medium voltage
