Job Opportunity: Sr. Maintenance Manager

The Role:

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Maintenance Director to lead our facility's maintenance operations. This leadership role is focused on optimizing equipment performance, guiding a skilled team, and driving strategic initiatives that support long-term reliability and compliance. Reporting directly to the Senior Leadership Team, the Sr. Maintenance Manager will play a key role in capital project execution, cross-departmental collaboration, and continuous improvement efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement comprehensive maintenance plans that align with operational goals and maximize resource utilization.
• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance personnel to ensure high performance and technical growth.
• Oversee the deployment and enhancement of maintenance systems, including CMMS, to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules using lean methodologies such as KAIZEN and One Point Lessons to reduce downtime and increase efficiency.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to support facility upgrades and capital projects.
• Evaluate contractor bids, manage vendor relationships, and ensure cost-effective procurement and maintenance practices.
• Promote sustainability through energy audits, site inspections, and adherence to environmental regulations.
• Maintain strict compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards across all maintenance activities.
• Adapt to working conditions in cold environments and support facility needs as required.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support departmental and organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Production preferred; equivalent experience (15+ years) in maintenance leadership will be considered.
• Minimum of 10 years of maintenance experience in a food manufacturing or processing environment.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and implement strategic maintenance initiatives.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and industry standards related to maintenance operations.
• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, climb, balance, squat, kneel, bend, and reach overhead.
