Supply Chain Manager

Industry: Medical Equipment Manufacturing
Location: Charlotte, NC (onsite/hybrid as applicable)
Compensation: $120,000-$140,000 base salary

Summary

A growing medical equipment manufacturer is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end planning, procurement, and inventory management. This role is highly visible within the organization and plays a critical part in SIOP execution, strategic sourcing, and continuous improvement initiatives. The Supply Chain Manager will manage a small, capable team and partner closely with cross‑functional leaders to support business growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including demand planning, supply planning, procurement, and inventory management
  • Actively participate in and help drive the SIOP process, balancing service, cost, and inventory targets
  • Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier performance management, and cost‑reduction efforts
  • Drive continuous improvement across planning, purchasing, and inventory processes
  • Manage, develop, and mentor a team of 3 direct reports (2 Buyers, 1 Production Planner)
  • Partner with manufacturing, operations, quality, and finance to ensure alignment and execution
  • Support scalability and process maturity as the organization continues to grow

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required (Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Engineering, or related field)
  • Proven experience across planning, procurement, and inventory management within a manufacturing environment (medical device preferred but not required)
  • Experience participating in or supporting SIOP / IBP processes
  • Strong leadership skills with a passion for team development and growth
  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders
