Strategic Account Manager
Position Summary
The Global Account Manager is responsible for managing key strategic accounts within the semiconductor, test, and data center sectors. This role focuses on driving revenue growth, developing long-term customer partnerships, and aligning customer requirements with internal product and engineering capabilities. The position requires a strong blend of technical knowledge and commercial expertise to support complex sales cycles and global account strategies.
Core Responsibilities
- Manage and grow revenue within strategic accounts
- Develop and execute account plans aligned with customer and business objectives
- Identify and qualify new opportunities while maintaining existing business
- Lead complex sales cycles including technical evaluations, negotiations, and closing
- Coordinate global account activities across regions and internal teams
- Build relationships with key stakeholders across engineering, procurement, and leadership levels
Account Management & Strategy
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned global customers
- Align customer roadmaps with internal product and technology strategies
- Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform account strategy
- Drive design-in opportunities and long-term business positioning
- Forecast revenue, manage pipeline activity, and ensure sales target achievement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and operations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field (advanced degree preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in capital equipment sales, account management, or related roles
- Industry experience within semiconductor, test & measurement, or data center environments
- Proven success managing long, complex sales cycles
- Experience working with global customers and distributed teams
- Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
