Salary: $82,000 - $110,000 + 10% bonus

Summary:
A leading national retailer seeks a Supply Chain Project Manager to implement projects that increase distribution capacity, enhance productivity, reduce expenses, maximize throughput, and improve workplace safety. You will manage the planning, design, integration, and implementation of supply chain projects, ensuring goals are met on time and within budget. This role involves directing and tracking multiple projects, maintaining cost control, meeting deadlines, and keeping all departments informed of their responsibilities and any changes.
The Supply Chain Project Manager will have the following responsibilities:
- Plan, design, and document supply chain project needs, concepts, and benefits.
- Conduct due diligence to ensure accurate cost, capacity, and timing projections.
- Utilize project management tools to acquire and implement projects.
- Track and coordinate project progress, updating management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal teams, consultants, and contractors to meet business requirements.
- Create and maintain SOPs for project processes.
- Test new concepts to enhance distribution center flow and setup.
- Support capital projects through work sampling, ROI justification, and cost/benefit analysis.
- Identify and recommend improvements based on throughput constraints, work methods, and ergonomics.
- Oversee the development of enhanced operational and key metrics reporting.
The Supply Chain Project Manager will have the following requirements and skill sets:
- B.S. degree in Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain management.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project management working on projects related to cost savings, productivity improvement and process development.
- Distribution center experience.
- Strong project management, team management and leadership skills
- Familiar with AutoCAD and supply chain management systems like Manhattan Associates.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt preferred.
