Title: Head of Supply Chain
An aerospace manufacturing organization is seeking a Head of Supply Chain to lead and transform its end‑to‑end supply chain function. This individual will take ownership of sourcing, planning, logistics, and supplier management in a highly regulated, complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy including sourcing, planning, procurement, logistics, and materials management
- Drive supplier performance, cost optimization, and risk mitigation across a complex global supply base
- Build and scale SIOP / planning processes to improve forecasting, inventory, and delivery performance
- Lead supplier transitions, network stabilization, and operational execution
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and quality to support production and new product introduction
- Develop and mentor a high-performing supply chain organization
- Establish scalable processes, KPIs, and governance to support growth
Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in supply chain leadership within aerospace, defense, or regulated manufacturing
- Proven experience owning end-to-end supply chain operations
- Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and planning (SIOP)
- Experience operating in complex, high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments
- Demonstrated ability to build structure, teams, and processes in underdeveloped or evolving organizations
- Executive-level communication and ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
